Fabulous Fashion Friday To All!
The weekend is finally here! Therefore, there’s nothing like the fun and frivolous side of life to take our minds off the stresses and strains of the week. Speaking of fun and frivolous, this is the time of year that we fashionistas look so forward to – The September Issue! That’s right, our favorite fashion mags roll out their extra-thick issues that are jam-packed with the hottest looks of the Fall 2015 season.
Of course, the covers are replete with Hollywood heavy-hitters from the worlds of film and music like Anne Hathaway and Beyonce. However, if you happen to pick up a copy of Essence, you’ll be treated to a fierce fashion spread with the reigning ‘It Girl,’ Misty Copeland. As a newly crowned principal dancer in the ABT, Misty balances beauty and art perfectly while making history. As always, I look forward to all of the funky and chunky boots, bags and accessories that will be on display.
So, if you need a respite from the ‘day-to-day,’ pick up your favorites at the nearest newsstand, pour a glass of your favorite refreshment, and start planning for what you’ll rock, repurpose or rid this autumn!
