Happy Valentine’s Day Peeps!
Hope you are spending the day with the one you love. In the meantime, lets talk about one of the things I love – Mercedes Benz’ bi-annual celebration of next season’s fashion trends. Yesterday concluded MB’s Fall 2014 Fashion Week. As always, the designers hit it out of the park!
Both rich and muted tones were represented on the runway. Some designers played up bohemian-chic, while others went full-out glam. Of course, the usual fall trends were seen including leather, fur, and texture upon texture. Influences from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s were in abundance as well. Of course, I can’t talk about Fashion Week without giving a big shout-out to my personal fave designer, Michael Kors whose collection was a girl’s ‘prêt-à-porter’ dream.
I know that many of us are ready to chuck the boots and slide into some sandals, and the last thing you want to talk about is next fall. But, remember that appreciating style is never out of season!
