Happy Tuesday All!

This summer has been one for the books, so I hope you all have had a great season as well.  However, as we head into mid-August, our attention turns to preparing kids to go back to school, seasonal house cleaning, and gearing up for football (go Cowboys!).  So, here are a few tips to help make your transition as smooth as possible:

  • Review what you have in your closet(s).  Now is the time when the September issues will be hitting newsstands. So, pick up your favorite fashion mag to help you determine what you can keep, give away or toss.
  • Go on a scavenger hunt in your garage or attic.  What can you round up for a Fall DIY project—like a new wreath for the door or homemade fixtures for the kitchen or bathroom.
  • Right now you can get premium deals on summer clothes and/or household items you can put away for next year.
  • We’re headed into the last quarter of the year—unbelievable, right?  Nevertheless, now would be a good time to peruse your personal accounts, receipts, etc. to see where you stand before the holiday season arrives.

Going into the fall season is always mixed with excitement and a little trepidation as we move into shorter days, longer nights and cold weather.  Hopefully, these ideas will help you ‘fall back’ with ease.

Best,
