Happy ‘Wedding’ Wednesday!
Most people who know me, know that I have an absolute, life-long romance with shoes. Wait a minute, is a romance with shoes even possible?! Anyhoo, another die-hard shoe fan was Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City fame, played by real-life fashionista, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Sarah took her love for footwear and launched her own line, the SJP Collection. Last fall, she announced she was going to design a line of bridal shoes for the SJP Collection, and they are now available.
The collection offers brides a choice of traditional white or a pop of color for a non-traditional look. They’re fashion-forward, with the right mix of couture and femininity. Customers are encouraged to visit the collection’s Instagram account to view more photos of the line, as they are made available in the days to come. The shoes will be available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Zappos Couture.
I’m always excited to see more choices become available for my brides-to-be. For so long, the wedding dress was the star of the show—-and it still is—-however, bridal shoes are no longer relegated to a supporting role. They too are now celebrated as a co-star.
