Happy Fabulous Friday!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. Now that the bunny has come and gone, it’s time to look forward to celebrating mothers. Therefore, I would like to highlight a cause that is very near and dear to me, personally—the fight against infant mortality.
Since its founding by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938, MOD has tirelessly worked to help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.
My husband and I were introduced to the March of Dimes organization during an extremely challenging season in our lives. In addition to our families and friends, MOD provided a wealth of support and understanding for which I will always be grateful. Each year, Team Chalk (which consists of myself, my husband, family members and friends) participate in the March for Babies marathon to support healthy babies and moms.
Even if you were fortunate to have never needed the services of MOD, you may be connected to someone who does. So, as we celebrate the season of New Beginnings and Mother’s Day, I want to encourage you to consider supporting this worthy organization so that we can ensure a future of beautiful new beginnings for moms and dads-to-be.
Best,
