We are moving along in the holiday season, and as Christmas Day steadily approaches, it seems as if there’s less time to accomplish everything on the ‘to-do’ list. If you’re still grappling with the idea of putting up Christmas lights, consider adding some Marsala to your holiday decor for some inspiration from Pantone’s 2015 ‘it’ color.
Marsala is one of those ‘chameleon-like’ colors that can appear to be of a more reddish hue, or sometimes more brown, and then other times—a little burgundy. Therefore, this color works well with almost any accent—silver, gold, black, or white. The rustic, yet rich quality of the color can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the environment you want to decorate. So, don’t wait until 2015 to indulge in some Marsala. Enjoy it now and in the months to come!
