The Christmas season can be a romantic time of year as many engagement rings are given during the holiday.  It can also be a great time to say, ‘I do!’  With the back-drop of snow, lights and tinsel, Christmas decor makes for a great inspiration for your wedding atmosphere.

You can also use some of the holiday classics that we all know and love as further inspiration.  For example, why not borrow from Dicken’s, ‘A Christmas Carol’ and have photos of you and the groom celebrating Christmas past and present as part of your reception centerpieces.  How about having a replica of the ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ tree for your guests to sit your wedding gifts under.  Not sure of what you want as wedding favors?  Ornaments, mini wreaths or bottles of homemade egg nog all inscribed with your names and wedding date make for memorable keepsakes.

No matter how you decide to celebrate your Christmas wedding, the most important thing is that it evokes what’s most important at this time of year, the love you and your fiancé share with each other and those nearest and dearest to your hearts.

Merry Christmas!
