The Love Story of Kelley + Scott:

Though their  stories about the night they  met vary slightly, the one thing that they  always agree on is that music brought them together.   In August 2008, Scott  met  his rock star Kelley  during a show with his band in Newark, DE, and  from that night on they quickly became inseparable. The new couple spent almost all of their  time together after work and on the weekends going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

On January 21, 2011, in Philadelphia, Scott planned a very romantic dinner on the Moshulu, a famous ship at Penn’s Landing. After dinner, Scott brought Kelley to the top deck of the boat (despite protest from the staff because of the icy conditions) to pop the question and she said YES!

Scott wanted a Catholic wedding, and Kelley had always envisioned an outdoor reception. To get the best of both worlds, they  planned a Catholic ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena Church, and an outdoor cocktail reception at Winterthur Museum and Gardens on May 18, 2012. This DIY bride had a wonderful time adding her special touches to the wedding vintage decor including making the fresh flower bouquets for the entire bridal party!  The lovely couple couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful day. As Kelley’s Mom walked her  down the aisle to meet Scott while she was beaming from ear to ear thinking of all our amazing years to come!

As newlyweds,  currently living  in Newark, DE., the Vari’s  are so excited to have just added a new member to  the family in Maxine, a black Labrador Retriever.
