If you’re having trouble choosing a color scheme for your upcoming wedding, the brightest trend of 2013 may be for you. A rainbow theme can be brought into all aspects of your wedding, like your floral arrangements, desserts, and bridesmaids’ accessories. Worried it may turn out like a kids’ birthday party? Here’s some inspiration for a colorful and stylish wedding:
Here are our tips for making your rainbow wedding a success:
* Balance bright and bold colors with muted tones. Think turquoise with soft yellow, or petal pink and lime green.
* Don’t forget the basics. Simple white linens provide the perfect backdrop to add your color, as do classic black dresses with rainbow accents for the girls (like doing the same pair of heels in different vibrant colors for your bridesmaids). To keep your event sophisticated, don’t neglect the power of a great neutral to balance out your colors.
* Make sure it fits the venue. Although this trend is great for an outdoor wedding in the spring or summer, it may not be best if your event is in the winter at a traditional banquet hall.
