You can go the more traditional route and commemorate the religious origin of the holiday and top it off with a feast consisting of Irish stew, soda bread and Guinness cake for dessert. Can’t wait for Easter? Then, let your St. Patrick’s Day celebration double as a pre-Spring kick-off.
If you are in a climate where the temperatures are warm enough for outside activities, plan a backyard barbecue consisting of grilled corned beef, Colcannon, grilled cabbage wedges, and Apple Barley pudding. Of course, if you want to keep the eats basic and focus on the fun, you can’t wrong with delicious sandwiches like corned beef on rye and baked ham and cheese with assorted sides and drinks.
