Happy Fashion Friday Folks!
The weekend is finally here, and I, like Pharrell, am ‘Happy!’ Life has been keeping me quite busy, but no too busy to keep me from taking a peek at all of the wonderful runway designs that Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is showcasing right now. Even though we are preparing our closets for a long winter’s style, September also brings us a preview of what we’ll be rocking (or not) during the next spring/summer season.
So far, MBFW has displayed an eclectic mix of soft pastels, asymmetric lines and floral prints. Celebrity fave, Zac Posen’s 2015 collection offers a funky mix of street and feminine silhouettes. Whimsical, yet clean designs can be found in Whitney Pozgay’s WHIT collection like her 60’s-inspired, sleeveless and multi-colored sheath dress. Finally, Tadashi Shoji, another designer who’s a favorite among actresses in Hollywood, utilizes a combination of paisley and damask prints on many of his Spring/Summer 2015 frocks.
Needless to say, I can’t wait to see what else is in store since there are several more days left of Fashion Week. Plus, many of my fave designers have yet to show off their creations. From what has been shown thus far, I’m already counting down the days to March 20, 2015!
