Spring has officially sprung! We all know that with the season comes the Easter holiday festivities, which happen to arrive early this year. Sunday, March 31st to be exact.
So, what comes to your mind when you think of Easter and Spring time? The Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, or beautiful spring dresses, patent leather shoes, or Easter bonnets? Well, when I think of the season, I think of the endless world of PASTELS!
Pastel colors are one of many wedding trends for 2013! So, if it’s one of your favorite color palettes, you can indulge the imagination with an endless variety of ways to incorporate it into your wedding day. For example, how about pastel vintage-style mason jars used as favors or table placements, or pastel chavari chairs for a wedding ceremony? Picture a beautiful pastel wedding cake and treats for your guests!
From mint green, to lavender and peach, to baby blue, and yellow or pink, you can have a very romantic wedding day with a soft mix of a few colors or all of them. How about adorning your bridal party in a rainbow of pastels? You may even want to consider incorporating a few subtle hints of Easter such as pastel jelly beans and/or foiled mini Easter bunnies to adorn your dessert table or pastel eggs to embellish the inside of your centerpieces. Wow!
Peter Cottontail doesn’t have to bring me a “basket of Easter joy” because I am bubbling over with it as I reflect on the wonderful ideas “hoppin” down the trail of my mind!
